CMS Web site

CMS (Content Management System) Web sites are the type of Web sites that you can update yourself, with no skills required. You can add photos, blogs or articles, change a typo or add a new paragraph, add a new page, and so on. It may take more work to implement than a typical hand-coded site, but in the end, you have greater control.

If you anticipate frequent updates, one of these may be for you. I typically use Wordpress as a CMS platform. It's among the most used platforms Web wide, and its community of contributors allow for many features, called plugins. Many of these functionalities are free; others cost a small amount. The nice thing about Wordpress is that it continues to be updated. And updates are fairly straightforward.
